Lesley and John have been together for 29 years. They married in 2016 after being told by their collective children and best friends that after 25 years it was time to do so.

Lesley is a retired primary school teacher who still loves to work with children, especially those who are classed by society as having “Special Educational Needs”. She has created workshops to teach children how they can use crystals in their lives, run spiritual development groups to help those who are taking their first tentative steps along a similar pathway to hers, and mentored young teenagers in how to control the anxiety in their lives in today’s fast-paced world.

John, on the other hand, has had many occupations and even a spell in the British Armed Forces. Most of his working life was spent in the construction industry - building was his first love! Later he went into education to become an Instructor of Construction in secondary education working with children who were deemed as having “Special Educational Needs”. He has taken his energy healing to new levels and developed workshops to share his knowledge with other healers. He has also become an established practitioner of ‘distant healing’.

Both of their lives were changed dramatically when they began to attend a Spiritualist Church in the mid-2000s. They both realised that this was the path they needed to follow. Over the next few years, they studied and qualified as Reiki, Crystal and Energy healers and were mentored in developing their lives following spiritual principals.

 

It was then that they started to create Reaching Out Therapy. They wanted to help others by offering healing and spiritual development. They both retired from the teaching profession, moved to a new house, and went full time into their new careers and love every aspect of what they do now.
